Is your driver's license suspended by North Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV)?  Do you have a pending court charge of driving while license revoked?  Please understand that resolving the DWLR charge you have pending will usually ADD AT LEAST one year additional suspension if it is not handled properly.   DMV uses a point system to determine when to take action against a motorist's driving privileges. When a person is convicted of a speeding ticket or other type of traffic offense, points are accumulated on his or her driver's license.  An accumulation of more than 12 points within three years will result in DMV license suspension. In addition, conviction of more serious traffic offenses, DWI and DWLR, for example, result in immediate suspensions.
